She tells Lara about intimidation, threats of libel and slander, pressure on chapters and members, and women allegedly being targeted at their own homes with threatening messages, vandalism and disturbing packages.
Bre also raises concerns about the Children of the American Revolution and the potential implications for young members, including who may serve in leadership and chaperone roles.
For Bre, this has gone beyond an internal disagreement over membership policy. She says it has become a question of safety, free speech and whether DAR members can challenge their organization without fear of retaliation.
