On Afghanistan:
I could not bring myself to say anything on the recent anniversary since so many Afghans are still drowning in blood, fear, and misery. I did not trust myself to speak. The anger at this betrayal and the terrible lies pushed by the media to legitimize it as something else run deep. It is beyond unjust & dishonest - and remains the greatest betrayal in the history of the United States. An entire nation starving, destitute, and still hunted/murdered by the terrorists we put in power. The legacy of this administration is steeped in the suffering of innocents. We should not have allowed US leaders to get away with this horror and there is still much we can do to stop them legitimizing a terrorist regime at the expense of our allies, who deserve better.
