It says everything about this person that here she ignores the young soldier who sacrificed his life to save two people he’d never met & instead sees an opportunity to score cheap political points with no clue about the facts. This is everything that’s wrong with much of the media today - with a little effort/basic reporting she could have learned that the two people Spec Bishop Evans jumped in the river to save admitted they were smuggling marijuana & four more in their group made it back to Mexico. Perhaps if she behaved more like a journalist & less like a political activist/propagandist or spent less time lecturing other journalists on how to do their jobs, she may see that a little respect & human decency would go a long way in a moment like this.
